Crochet Summer Mesh Dress

 



 Abbreviations

  • Ch/s = chain/s
  • Sc = single crochet
  • SK = skip 
  • Rep = repeat
  • St = stitch
  • SL st/s = slip stitch/es
Materials
  • Yarn and hook of your choice ( I used Alize Diva silky effect and 3.0 mm crochet hook, sports weight/size 2
  • Tape measure
  • Yarn needle
  • Scissors
  • Stitch marker
Measurement Guide 
    Measurement A :

    Low Hip : Measure your low hip around the fullest part of your hip.

    Measurement B :
    Lower Hip to upper Bust

    The Pattern 

    Foundation Chain : Ch a multiple of 8 that measure your low hip , SL ST into the first Ch to form a circle

    Round 1 :
    Ch 1 , Sc same st *Ch 9 sk 7 Sts , Sc in the next st. Rep * until the end of the round ( 7 Ch/s left). Ch6 , Dc into the very first Sc of the round.

    Round 2 :
    Ch 1 , Sc into the top of Dc from previous round. *Ch 9 , SC in the center of the Ch 9 from previous round (5th Ch). Rep * untill the end of the round , Ch 6 and Dc into the very first Sc of the round.

    Rep round 2 until you reach your measurement B or your desired length.

    Note : Ch 1 and Ch 2 does not count as a st.

     Ruffle Part

    R1 : Ch 1 and Sc around , SL ST to connect.
    R2 : Ch 2 , 2 Dc in each sts around. SL ST to connect.
    R3 : Ch 2, turn and Dc in each Sts around. Rep the process until you reach your desired length.

    Strap Part 

    • Insert your yarn at the Sc. Ch 1 and Sc same st. SC around and SL ST to connect. Ch 1 and cut the yarn.
    • Try to wear your dress and locate where you want your strap to be placed. Place st market to mark.
    • Insert your yarn and Ch a Ch that is long enough to tie a bow.
    • SC all the way back and SL ST. 
    • Weave ends!
